Motherhood, once upon a time, filled every corner of my life. Now, my children are growing, finding their own wings, while my heart is learning the acceptance and beauty of letting go. The garden remains, even as the hummingbirds move on. The flowers planted are full of memories of tenderness, warmth, endurance, and love. So I paint love letters, with vibrant strokes mixed with a bit of gentle sadness but full of radiant hope, light, and motion, to remind myself with each stroke of the brush that the story of life is not yet finished. There is still more goodness and beauty to unfold as I turn the next page in this new chapter, pages made of petals and wings.
